ADogs Just Wanna Have Fun!

No question about it, Addison's disease can be scary in the beginning. But once you understand the medications and learn to read your dog, you'll be unstoppable together!  We strive to have our ADogs lead unparalleled live of fun, wellness and excitement.  We aren't going to let a little adrenal gland dysfunction get in our way.  There are dogs with Addison's disease doing everything that other dogs can do. Harley is a German Shepherd Dog who loves to play with his Frisbee more than anything in the world! He also makes sure he knows where "Mom" is all the time. He is feeling great on DOCP and prednisone. He also gets daily supplements including Milk Thistle, Glucosamine and Flax Seed Oil. Born 11/96 Dx 1/03  

Mercedes, an elegant borzoi, is  a working therapy dog who loves to meet new folks, go for car rides, play in the yard with her pom buddy Lincoln and run very fast. She is fed a homecooked diet. Born 5/12/96 Dx 1/3/01

 

  It is our jobs, as Ms.Penny's loyal subjects, to keep life for her as stress-free as possible and we all work very hard at that job.  Her most exciting time of each day is when her daddy comes home from work and she showers him with kisses until he gives up and gives her a treat.  She is well maintained on Percorten-V and daily prednisone.  Born ___/93 Dx 3/99.

 

Seven is a amazing hunter, his natural instincts are true to his breed.  But not just a bird dog, he is a loyal companion that my husband calls my shadow. I love him dearly (being my first) and wouldn't know what to do without him.  Born __/95 Dx 10/01

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tyler's passion is swimming and making sure all toys are rescued from his pool.   He smiles and yodels every morning!  He feels better every day on DOCP, prednisone, thyroxine and an ever decreasing dose of phenobarbital. Born __/93 Dx 7/02

 

 

 

Taz is quite the adventurer. Since being diagnosed with AD, he continues to be energetic, happy and ready for action. He's well maintained on DOCP, hydrocortisone and a raw diet. Born __/__ Dx __/00
