Other Health Issues 

Addison’s disease can sometimes be a part of other health problems.  While some symptoms of other diseases resolve when a dog is diagnosed with Addison’s and properly treated, there are some diseases that don’t resolve.  Some dogs like people have multi- or polyglandular disorder.  This means that more than one gland, such as the thyroid or pancreas, is also involved in a disease process.
